Elisa Moris Vai

Artist

Elisa Moris Vai is a French artist born in 1988. She obtained an MA (hon) of Performing Arts from the Free University of Brussels, Belgium, before completing a BA in photography in Paris.

At the intersection between documentary and fiction, Moris Vai addresses in her work French society’s flaws. Mixing individual and collective levels, she tackles social representations, identity, and History through research-based projects.

She extends her art practice to curating conferences relating to the themes she explores.

Moris Vai is currently enrolled in a postgraduate programme at ESAD, the Fine Arts School of Valenciennes (FR).

Marie Darah

Artist

Marie Darah, Charleroi born artist living in Brussels, is a European Slam Champion.
Crumpled souls, abused bodies, freaks, junkies, bitches, kids, beasts, all live within their poetry.

They dig into our shadows, strike into our taboo-silences and ticking boxes with the delicacy of a scalpel. They reopen the wounds in our collective memories to stitch them back up again with blood, ritornellos, breath, flow, knives, and glitter.

Their book, Beneath Black Tar (Transl. Sous le tarmac, 2022) is an aortic battle toward the light.
